Sunday Worship & Fellowship
As a part of our morning Sunday worship, we are studying 2 Timothy, an encouragement to the church to hope in Christ while enduring trials. Why is this important for our church? As a mission church (under the care of Providence Church in Morton, IL) we are learning how God provides grace, mercy, and peace for His people--even in suffering. These Scriptures are a wake up call for God's people, the bride of Christ, to seek the Lord God, to turn from sin, and to be a blessing to the nations, starting with our neighbors and those around us.
After the morning worship, every first and third Sunday of the month, we gather to feast and fellowship one with another. We do this following a short study of an important topic in Disciple Makers. "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing" (1 Thess. 5:11).
Once again, as you have come to this website, please don't stop here. If you are desiring to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, "seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while he is near" (Isaiah 55:6). If you would like to give me a call or send me an email to discuss the things of the Lord, I would be glad to do so! Let's talk about this great salvation!
Please feel welcome to come and joyfully worship on Sunday (10:00 a.m.) with us our Risen Lord. Come and see what the Lord has done! "This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4).
Grace and Peace to you,
Pastor Peter Lindstrom
